I.G. Desai Vidhya Sankul

I. G. Desai vidhya sankul houses Pre-primary, Primary, Secondary, and Higher Secondary classes. Started at Ravishankar Maharaj Marg with just 15 students and one room, the I.G. Desai Vidhya Sankul has now grown into a thriving institution of 4000 students. The I.G. Desai Vocational Training Center was built nearly 9 years later, introducing Skills & Vocational Training as a part of the schools’ curriculum. The school authorities dedicated a part of their institution for the cause, also naming it “Purushartha” where children were encouraged to learn new skills and showcase their talents by means of education.

CBSE board & state and central government is considering to introduce different skills & vocational courses in school education. Since last nine and a half years we have introduced skills & vocational training as a part of curriculum and have setup vocational training centre in our school premises and have dedicated major part of one of the wings of the school building known as “purushartha” where in all our school children are taught different skills & vocations.

Ship Matri Group was founded by Parimal Desai upon returning from the United States after completing his Masters in Civil Engineering from Stevens Tech & the University of Texas at Austin in 1988. Since its inception, the firm has been responsible for a construction area of around 1 million square feet. The firm's flagship residential development project Ravishankar Sankul comprises 8 High-Rise buildings, 8 Low-Rise buildings, and 8 Bungalows: which were designed, planned, and constructed solely by the firm. It has also been consulted for a number of Residential Properties, Commercial Properties, Factories, Non-profit Organizations, Schools, and Industrial shed development.
Having an impeccable track record of honesty, sincerity, integrity, and timely service, the firm has established a strong brand for itself and a favorable rapport with its customers. Believing strongly in the responsibility of every citizen to do his bit for the society, Mr. Desai has been a tireless social worker, and that has led to him being featured in Season 1 Finale of Satyamev Jayate by Aamir Khan for his works with the Sarvodaya Charitable Trust. He has been the recipient of numerous awards including The Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award.
Hardik Desai joined the group as Partner, managing Strategy, Marketing & Business Development in July of 2015 after completing B. Tech Civil Engineering from IIT Guwahati. He has served as Treasurer for Gujarat Khedut Samaj in the past & is currently serving as President of Youth Forum for the Gujarat Kelavani Parishad.
